You have agency.
You have value.
You have the ability to go forward.
The Participate in Hope mission declares that where unwillingness to see meets willingness to change, self-advocacy blooms and exercise of rights begins to emerge.
You Have the Right to Choose Who You Are,
In every moment, you decide the manner in which you will participate.
How You Present Your Self to the World,
You have the right to speak up for yourself, to protect your needs, and to do what is right for you.
There will always be consequences for everything that you choose.
& What You Exude.
But in your hands, there is agency that cannot be extinguished; it cannot be taken from you.
Agency begins when we become aware of the choices we have.
Not every choice will carry the same magnitude, but in our souls, when we choose, we affect how we feel.
We can choose to smile or grimace, stand up or sit down, be an active participant in our lives or be passive to our reactions and what we face.
We choose how to react to every piece of life, every encounter.
We choose how to steer our thoughts, actions, decisions, & perspectives.
Agency is strengthened when you have a will to live, change, and participate. Standing still will only get us so far.
Operation Faith
Is about refusing to give up.
Even when the day is heavy.
Even when survival mode is your only option.
Even when healing cannot yet be seen.
It is the belief that you will come out of your darkest days alive —
and that meaning can be found beyond the pain.
A tornado’s presence is terrifying — but it does eventually — end.
Hope gives breath — the ability to stand.
Now open your eyes and shift.
Step right up. Let’s begin the journey.
You are a person.
Your life on this earth has the capacity to touch the world around you, even through brokenness, even through pain. There is something distinct about you—something only you can bring into existence. Pain can feel meaningless when you are inside of it, but that does not mean it is. What we experience shapes us, and influences who we become and how we move through the world, whether we notice it or not.
In this journey called life, there are three main stages—conditions people can find themselves living in.
Often, we adapt so completely to one condition that it begins to feel like the only way life can be. Trauma can become the air we breathe, shaping what we expect and what we imagine is possible.
But there is more to this journey than what we may originally see, and we have the ability to adapt to new realities—beginning simply by realizing that another condition exists beyond the one we are living inside of right now.
